Yeovil College recently hosted its prestigious Shining Stars Awards Ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic year. This event celebrated the exceptional talents of 65 standout students.
From a pool of over 5,500 eligible candidates, the elite 0.1% of the Yeovil College student community were honoured with more than 60 prestigious awards. The event was attended by families, friends, the Yeovil College team, local business leaders, school representatives, and community influencers.
Nathaniel Bielby started his employment and apprenticeship with Dextra Group in September 2022, undertaking a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician course. Overcoming adversity in the past year and putting all of his energy and focus into his course, with hard work and dedication, Nathaniel reduced his apprenticeship from 4 years to 3 years.
Dextra Group were proud to attend the Shining Stars event and present Nathaniel with the Yeovil College and The Institution of Engineering and Technology Extraordinary Commitment to Apprenticeship, Apprentice of the Year Award.
This is an amazing achievement for Nathaniel and hope that you will all join me in congratulating him on this.
Nathaniel has now committed to undertake the Level 4 apprenticeship and we wish him all the very best with the new course and for his future career at Dextra.
