Clarks is one of the UK’s most recognisable footwear brands, founded in 1825 and headquartered in Street, Somerset they operate over 320 stores across the UK and Ireland, with a global presence extending across the Americas, Europe and the Asia Pacific. Renowned for its blend of heritage and innovation, Clarks continues to refine its retail environments to deliver a modern and engaging customer experience.
As part of a recent store refit at the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham we were invited to design and supply a new lighting solution that would meet the brand’s commercial and aesthetic requirements. A key element of the design was the INEO luminaire, a completely bespoke, track-mounted fitting created specifically for this project. Selected for its cost-effective performance and sleek integration, the INEO was installed alongside our Coulis track spots, providing a consistent, high-quality illumination across the mid-floor areas.
The new lighting installation has been praised by both the client and the contractor for creating a bright, modern and welcoming retail space. The lighting system enhances the sales floor environment whilst improving the visibility of product wall displays, contributing to an overall uplift in the store’s look and feel. Following the success of the Bullring store, this lighting solution has now been incorporated into their lighting specification and we continue to work with Clarks on projects across the country.
