As a large privately owned organisation, our corporate and social responsibility (CSR) is important to us. We are committed to ethical and sustainable business practices and adopting responsible behaviours that supports our core values. This means we take account of our social, economic and environmental impact. CSR benefits the environment, our employees, customers and communities in which we operate, both locally and further afield.
As part of our community support, we actively engage with and support local businesses, organisations and charities. Each year we support a set of local charities that are selected by our employees. Our annual charity of choice for the last 13 years has been Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance (DSAA) and during this time, the company has donated £180,724.27 to this wonderful cause.

As a company we have had first-hand experience of the vital role it plays to save and enhance lives. Anyone, anywhere, can become a patient at any time – we are fully committed and proud to offer our continued support to DSAA and the amazing work that their entire team undertake.”
Georgia Beard, Corporate Partnerships Lead at DSAA paid thanks to Dextra’s support over the years and added:
“We invited Natasha to visit our airbase back in February, so that she could see how Dextra’s charitable donations were being used to improve our service and helping to save lives. Following the visit, Dextra decided to kindly increase their annual donation to the huge amount of £25,000. A donation of this amount equates to nearly one day of operations for DSAA and is an extremely special gift which we are so grateful for.”
