Dextra Group are delighted to have recently attended the Management Training Plus Apprentice of the Year Awards 2024 at the prestigious Bath hotel, The Bird.
We joined our learning provider, Management Training Plus along with other apprentices and employers from across the South West to celebrate the success of apprentices across a variety of categories.
The awards were presented by former Olympic swimmer, Sharron Davies MBE.
We had two employees nominated:
Andy Dugdale won the category for Most Inspiring Apprentice.
Dan Faulkner was a runner up in the Apprentice of the Year category.
Lewis Blain, Managing Director of Management Training Plus said:
“We were delighted to be able to showcase the fantastic achievements of our apprentices. It’s vital that people of all ages are given the opportunities they need for their career advancement and personal development and we are proud to be able to support that with our accredited courses and expert partners.”

“It was therefore a real privilege to attend the ceremony to celebrate all the wonderful local apprentices, both winners, nominees and everyone committing to skills training. I wish them all the very best as they progress in their chosen careers. I also commend their employers for supporting staff to help them build the future of their businesses.”
Sharron Davies MBE commented:
“I’ve had such a fabulous afternoon giving out awards to SW Apprentices at The Bird in Bath for MT+. Talking about how very important apprenticeships are to both businesses and those learning new skills in the work place. I love congratulating people who’ve applied themselves and achieved”.
Congratulations to both Andy and Dan and all of our apprentices that have either completed their courses or are on their apprenticeship journey.
